iPhone X

The all glass design of the iPhone X has its flaws.

The iPhone X is not like the 7. It’s all glass, it has no home button and a full screen design. The flagship model is available since last week and Apple is not gonna be happy with that video.

The famous drop test has been applied to the new iPhone X, and well, results are not good. CNET reports that it cracked on the FIRST drop, unlike the iPhone 7 model and even the 6 and 6s which are pretty strong compared to the new model. CNET reached Apple for comments:

« The new iPhone is designed to be durable, but not indestructible, and goes through rigorous real world testing. iPhone X is made from the most durable glass ever in a smartphone with a 50 percent deeper strengthening layer using our dual ion-exchange process, further reinforced by an internal laser welded, steel and copper structure. And the surgical-grade stainless steel band that wraps around and reinforces iPhone X is a special Apple-designed alloy that is both durable and more pure. If anyone is concerned about dropping their iPhone and damaging it, we suggest using one of the many beautiful cases available to protect iPhone », said Apple.

To see how the iPhone X behaves when dropped, here is a video below which shows the glass design is not as strong as Apple wanted you to believe.
